As a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist with a diploma in anxiety resilience and stress management, I harness the power of hypnosis as well as mindfulness and third wave therapies such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy to help people lead happier, healthier lives.
My interest in this technique was driven by a rare genetic syndrome I suffer called Ehlers Danlos, and I found hypnosis sessions to be transformational in helping me with pain management, reducing my dependency on painkillers, improving my mobility, assisting with weight loss and so much more.
After earning my diploma, my desire to help people like myself who suffer from persistent conditions to cope and enjoy life lead me to the idea of online hypnotherapy sessions. If you feel like your condition rules your life and your dreams are limited, don’t give up hope.

But Is Cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapy efficient?
For sure, yes. For several sub-clinical issues, including anxiety, hypnotherapy is the most effective, and fastest, therapeutic approach.
In 1995, a study published in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology compared CBT treatment without hypnosis to equal treatment with hypnosis on issues ranging from obesity and hypertension to insomnia and public speaking anxiety…
It showed that for the majority of clients ( between 70-90% ), cognitive and behavioural therapies were more efficient when integrated with hypnosis.
With cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, positive outcomes generally happen quite fast. Stop Smoking is effective in a single two-hour session. However, hypnotherapy is not a “magic wand.”
Most treatments will usually take six 6 to 8 sessions to have sustainable results that “stick” through time.
Remember that the results may vary from people to people and depends on multiple factors like the severity of your symptoms, the way it impacts on your life. The main element of transformation will always be your willingness to change and how you invest in your treatment plan.
